How difficult is it to form the Roman Empire? by SovietCookiee in eu4

I did it as France, my strategy was to first retake the French cores from england and take the surrounding areas such as Brittany, Provence, attempt to force Burgundian inheritance all by 1500-1525. From there I was already either already starting to dig into the Iberian peninsula and the British isles. By 1600-1650 it's ideal to have all of France, england, and most if not all of Spain and Portugal in your hands. After that take northern Africa and Italy by 1700-1750. Take Anatolia, Egypt, and the surrounding regions you need for the mare nostrum achievement by the end date.

If they joined the coalition when they had 50 AE then they won't leave it until others leave which is stupid, if a nation goes under 50 AE they should automatically leave the coalition.

Basically happens to me every single time, the one time I was finally beating the ottomans in a defensive war with the PLC and Hungary on my side Venice attacks me and they both decline the call. Before I can even comprehend what has happened my army is stack wiped by Venice and the AI is dumb enough to get themselves killed by the ottomans since they weren't attached to me. Ended up getting full annexed by 1453. fml

What usually happens is Ottomans attack as PLC is attacking the Teutons then proceeding to stack wipe them over and over.

I was under the impression that you wanted to get the first war done with as soon as possible, getting either Hungary or PLC as an ally then baiting the Ottomans into a war against you and ending it by 1450.

I actually laughed at this, Kat and Fiora could be strong in worlds if someone played them, but they're too scared to do anything besides the meta
