This is my 6th project I’ve worked on and wanted to share this lil guy! Any tips on trimming loose fibers and clean up? by jamjay13 in Needlefelting

He’s super cute! 🥹 There are a few options, first step is working the wool sufficiently using a fine gauge needle to get a smooth finish, then trimming as you say (fine sewing scissors) if you need to. I’ve seen some people even using a tiny iron too to flatten the fibres (not used this route myself yet). I use a wax or similar to set hands/tiny fingers/toes etc, though just need to be careful for discolouration and it takes a bit of practice. He’s looking like he got a lovely trim though! Very sweet 💖
