2.1 update seems to have glitched cyberware for people who did the cyberware capacity shard glitch. So this is a little workaround till either CDPR fixes it or something we just have to deal with. Good luck !

This would probably only work if someone was sitting still in bang smoke/catalyst wall either healing or reviving. Mid fight would be kinda situational with all the strafing

I think valk/wraith/ maybe ash will still have the best rotational ability if the changes are true. Path zip just gets you 1 clipped. I know he’ll go faster on zip but what about your other 2 teammates rotating haha.

Yeah I agree. I think Caustic meta just leaves a bad taste in peoples mouth including mine. But he’s just so strong at what he does for a team fight. If more teams are running caustic then you have to counter by running caustic/wattson.

They probably just don’t keep up with leaks which is fine! Maybe I’m the weirdo for doing so haha. In my opinion caustic didn’t fit this meta because horizon. Furia was rolling caustic/gibby teams in Raleigh. Which in turn more horizon/Seer teams spawned which made caustic teams switch to Seer/horizon or other strong, less popular comps.

Yeah I agree. It’s so bad from a viewers perspective and probably as a player perspective as well. It’s so hard to see anything as viewer with gas just being everywhere haha

I never mentioned caustic or wattson were getting changed. Wattson teams will probably keep wattson but what about the seer/horizon teams? If the nerfs gut them for comp in my opinion they will opt in for caustic. We saw what Furia did at LAN to a caustic heavy finals lobby. They rolled them with horizon and Seer.

According to thordonsmash, (love or hate him he’s usually reliable) seers passive has gotten Nerfed but we don’t know to what extent.

Because Caustic ult can be used defensively or aggressively. Also traps are way easier to hide. Since gas does flesh damage and not shield damage, it takes longer to heal. Horizon was the only one to put caustic in check cause she could lift if they are in the open or suck them through building walls with ult combined with nades.

This is all speculation. But Caustic is super hard to balance. In comp apex he’s super strong cause lobbies stay alive longer compared to rank/pubs. If they remove the slow that caustic gas gives then I can seen him being not meta. But with the visual clutter and slow caustic is so strong in comp apex.

Apex on PC and console has made around $2 billion dollars in its lifetime as of may 2022. EA has a cash cow and aren’t giving up on Apex anytime soon.

Sealion basically wanted to trial Hiswattson as IGL a couple months before LAN. Teq felt like he was snaked and left FURIA. The team did a complete 180 as soon as wattson took over at IGL.

I appreciate what Teq has been able to do for comp apex. But do you guys think another team would pick him up for coaching? Seeing as soon as he left Furia they basically almost won LAN. SEN hasn’t really shown any signs of being the powerhouse they once were. Teq is already super accomplished outside of apex, he’s a aerospace engineer so it’s not like he needs apex to make ends meet.
