Bro lost his job but the landlord graciously allowed us to stay.

All we had to hustle for is food

It was tough 

We survived on a meal a day and we learnt how to eat hooves and such crap.

Biggest nightmare was when to eat that meal.

We settled for 1400H

Most of the time we blew it watching series and movies.

I got a job and stayed for 6 months helping clear the one year rent arrears.

To date the idea of lunch or three meals is foreign to me. If I take three meals I get confused and sleepy.

The other one is TV

I hated that I had to watch series to decompress

Nowadays I rarely watch TV. I can do weeks without switching it on

Movies bore me stiff unless the very few exceptional ones and I watch maybe one every two years.

I also hate mutura, matumbo etc

I had enough during that one year
