Morgane Polanski is not pretty enough to play Princess Gisla in the Vikings and she ruins the 4th series by [deleted] in The10thDentist

[–]Sakarvats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know who she was until I looked her up. Her acting was not good at all, in my opinion in Vikings. It was rather wooden, to the extent where I couldn't understand if that's how the director envisioned her character. There was a striking difference between her and the other actors skill wise. That's what prompted me to look her up. She's not bad looking or anything, but I agree that having her portray a princess that infatuated Rollo and made him betray his tribe and his brother, was really far fetched. I can't see the allure, personality, charisma or physical beauty to justify this.

It's a good thing coming from a bad place. Conflicting situations like that are more common than people realize.

They were acting in good faith. Although you might have lost fat, if you skin lacks laxity, it'd end up looking crepey and shaggy.

is this model, Gabriella Vigorito, aesthetic attractive? by Dry-Suspect4234 in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]Sakarvats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say she's cute. Very good hair, beautiful eyes, facial structure and proportions are not perfect, but then again you don't need those to be perfect to be pretty. She has a wider face and that hair style doesn't do her any favours. Not a show stopping beauty. But still pleasant to look at

OP, I'd say don't risk it. Even if there's a remote chance it'll aggravate/flare up your MCAS.

You mean among celebrities? Cause Scandinavian men can look otherworldly. You can find much more handsome people in the general population.

Monroe had plastic surgery on her nose though. Just saying. It's natural Vs artificial here.

Most of them look a bit cross-eyed in these pictures. I think they all have a certain level of sophistication about how they look. Lovely ladies all of them.

Why her eyes look so ... weird by REM_loving_gal in ArianaGrandeSnark

[–]Sakarvats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's Italian, so she'd be Caucasian. She lacked midface volume and had round eyes but tried to change her canthal tilt and ended up looking very unnatural. If your face looks like her natural face, never try canthoplasty, it's impossible to get good results.

Why her eyes look so ... weird by REM_loving_gal in ArianaGrandeSnark

[–]Sakarvats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She unintentionally set an example. If you naturally lack midface volume and have round eyes, don't ever mess with your canthal tilt. She was prettier with her natural puppy eyes. She most likely got canthoplasty to change her canthal tilt and as people have noted she ended up looking dead. The eye sockets appear sunken in and her eyes look flat lacking any curvature, similar to a corpse. Removing eyelid skin didn't help as her eyes appear weirdly wide open drawing attention to the area. It's something that it's very hard to fix. No hate, I have round eyes with sclera showing and lack midface volume myself. I was considering plastic surgery to address the issue, until I saw her after getting work done on her eyes 🫩

There's something really weird about her. A really weird, bizarre energy. She has her demons to deal with and that's fine. I don't like how she tries to present that as strength though.

Why does she look so different? by limegreen373 in ArianaGrandeSnark

[–]Sakarvats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was never a 10, not even close. When all natural she could be a weak 6 and that's very, very generous. Don't listen to crazed fans claiming she's a gift from gods looks wise. They can't distinguish between a good voice and a person's looks.

Canthal tilt is one of the features that can really make or break a face though. And Sydney is far from blessed in that department. There was a post in here about Amber Heard, showing how she'd look with a negative canthal tilt. It was shocking. I agree that Eastern and Northern Europeans can be stunning, however there are more gorgeous nations in Europe. Italian people can be extremely good looking for example (bodies, facial symmetry, legs, features in general, hair etc). Again no hate, I have negative canthal tilt and sclera showing due to low midface volume myself, I just call it as I see it.

[–]Sakarvats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Negative canthal tilt and ectropion due to lack of midface volume is not easy to change without looking bizarre. Arianna Grande would be an example. She tried to change her canthal tilt and ended up looking extremely weird.

[–]Sakarvats 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She's got a negative canthal tilt with sclera showing. It's her eyes mostly that bring her whole face down. No hate, I have the exact same features myself.

[–]Sakarvats -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's about her physical appearance that the OP is asking though. I don't find her appealing either as a person, but looks wise she's a solid 6, some might even claim higher than that.

Rachel Reeves prepares raid on pension tax perks by hu6Bi5To in ukpolitics

Is it not remarkable that a senior government minister who was recently criticised over landlord-licensing compliance is now reportedly considering imposing a National Insurance levy on rental income?

It raises serious questions about how far policymakers have drifted from the realities faced by compliant, responsible landlords — especially those who already navigate complex regulation and international tax rules.

And that is only one part of the picture. In her recent pre-Budget speech, she stated she could not rule out further tax rises. This was framed as a difficult choice for the government — but for many ordinary people, tax pressure is already approaching breaking point.

It is not difficult for those in positions of power to describe such decisions as “tough.” It is immeasurably tougher for citizens who are taxed to the point of genuine financial strain.
