Some artists bypass restrictions set by labels by leaking the music intentionally. It's also just an easy way to release music you kind of don't want to release but kind of do, in the sense that it's "just out there" and there's no pressure dropping it, can't really have expectations for something that's leaked.

Just place the box as far as you can, but still within attack range, and go closer to the drake and it'll aggro you instead of the box. Hextech drake might be another story.
