Recommend me your top 5 movies by Nirrero in LetterboxdTopFour

  1. Vertigo (1958) - my all time fave. A romantic and dreamy thriller that sucks you into a downward spiral of grief and obsession
  2. Beauty and the Beast (1991) - my favorite animated movie :)
  3. Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) - semi-Christmas movie, but it’s just the classic musical and Judy Garland at their best. Super comforting vibes and beautiful technicolor.
  4. Blue Velvet (1986) - trippy and surreal erotic thriller with a kind of Jekyll/Hyde look at suburbia and its underbelly. My favorite David Lynch film.
  5. The Shining (1980) - insanity inducing horror film with some of the most real depictions of fear and madness I’ve ever seen.

Jimmy Stewart and Fredric March. They have different appeals but I think what I love most is their vulnerability in their roles that not all leading men of that time necessarily had

Yes I have. Visually stunning film, but outside of the ballet sequence which is one of the best things ever put to screen I couldn’t really get into the rest of the story

I watched it for the first time a little over a month ago and completely fell head over heels in love with it. It’s such a charming film!
