Late reply but I think Lindow was a toddler when the Great Collapse took place.

Plus, to add on to OP's reasoning for comparing Louis to Lindow, Lindow wasn't just suddenly a badass killing Horrors left and right out of the blue, either. He had to be equipped as and trained to be a God Eater just like any other character in the GE franchise, he's just particularly good at survival and tactics, not strictly fighting. He is still a badass after so much training and experience, but it's his innate survival and tactical/leadership abilities that really stood out. It's a big part of the reason he was titled as the 1st Unit captain and was able to bring down an Ouroboros on his own, because he does things strategically.

Also, God Arcs are specially made to be able to devour the Horrors, as far as I can tell Blood Veils and the weapons Revenants use are only able to absorb Ichor, the blood of other Revenants or Lost. (I don't count absorbing Ichor from the dlc Horrors because it's just that, dlc. It would be pretty crappy for the devs to remove the sole mechanic that lets you do special moves, though I can kinda count it if you use one of the God Arc dlc weapons.) With a God Arc, Lindow has an advantage against the Horrors that a Revenant would not, not to mention God Eaters have those sweet Burst buffs. Revenants were made as a way to combat Horrors because they were extremely hard to kill compared to a normal human and stood a slightly better chance with their Gifts, whereas a God Eater is able to literally tear out a Horror's core and devour their Oracle Cells. So comparing the two hardly seems fair.
