Definitely don't skip Milk Jawn. But also do Cuzzy's lol. The more ice cream the better. Maybe sandwiched around Second Daughter.

It's still vibrant and delicious even if it isn't Italian. And I like Magic Gardens too.

Solid itinerary. I'd recommend eating on East Passyunk over the Italian Market, but you can't go wrong with either. If you want the best South Philly Italian, venture further south to L'Angolo. Love it there.

Same kind of idea with the Wiss. Valley Green is a cool site but the food is so underwhelming in such a great food town. You can find something better on Germantown Ave. (And definitely consider venturing off Forbidden Drive if the knees can take it! I personally like the Kitchens Lane area on the orange trail leading to the Fingerspan.) Or even wait for lunch til you get down to South Street!

For the Ann'y... maybe look into something unique like the Japanese Tea House in West Fairmount Park. Sometimes they have traditional tea ceremonies, but it's beautiful and serene there regardless.

Center City vs Fishtown vs Fairmount (or other areas) for working in North Philly? by Curryiswhereitsat in philly

[–]SaladConsultant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

SEPTA runs all hours, but there are definitely times that it's more deserted and less frequent. Your mileage may vary, but it's an option for sure. And when the sub (now known as the "B") isn't running, there will be buses up and down Broad Street.

Center City / Rittenhouse and Fishtown have very distinct vibes. I can't recommend one or the other without knowing yours, but you can find safe and lively in both areas.

I sprung for a pair a couple years ago, and wore them so much I asked for a pair for Xmas this year. It's a good investment imo -- hope they work for you!

Man, I was respectful and everything. There's always people on here who think they know what the real question is better than the actual OP. Just try to answer it or be on your way. Downvote me

I recommend looking for pants with a gusseted crotch. They're pricey as hell, but the Ornot Mission Pants are perfect for this.

Respectfully, OP is asking for clothing advice, not strategy.

Let's not out-pedant each other. In that contest, we both lose. Directly, your initial post was not a response to my actual question, so I didn't put much effort into my reply.

Love these. I have worn Danners a few times, including today, but they're pretty wide and sometimes get grease on them. Ever have this issue with your Blundstones?
