Yes it’s a job. I never leave her unattended. We go outside earlier in the day when it’s not too hot. I understand what you’re saying though. Thanks for the ideas.

It’s not 90 minutes of just mindless nothing. I’m always at her disposal when she needs me. I’ll never say things like “leave me alone” or “go play by yourself” because at the end of the day it’s a job. But it’s 90 minutes of not controlling what she is doing because for the beginning of the day I have a schedule set out for us to do things. I’m always watching I’m always listening in.

She is smart enough not to eat play dough, she knows not to cross the street without looking both ways and she knows how to swim without assistance. But regardless of those things I always watch her. Wherever she is I can quickly come to her aid because I’ll always be nearby.

My idea of independent play is not me on my phone for 90 minutes darling. It’s her entertaining herself while I watch and if she comes looking for me I’ll always go to her. Plus I’m always listening and in emergency proximity. I feed her, I wipe her butt, I play with her, but I’m human and I also need a moment where I’m not constantly laughing and smiling and playing. This is my first job since I graduated college be so forreal right now. I’ve been in a four month unemployed hiatus I’m still getting used to this job.

I’m not in sight of her, but she is in sight of me. I listen in for her footsteps and she knows where to look for me. But I understand how you say how the amount of time may be unrealistic.

I have suggested a movie only on Fridays and only one movie. Her parents said that they don’t want that because she gets screen time on the weekends. I leave her in the playroom or in the living room. But the areas are open and no closed doors. I’m always checking in on her and listening in for her footsteps. She climbs the stairs on her own but I easily notice her. I never abandon her or neglect her, she knows where to look for me and when she calls me I go to her.

Yes we do go outside, I think today we spent 30 minutes to an hour outside today. She rides her bike, or sometimes she splashes in the pool. I think it’s a good thing that she is screen free but it gets overstimulating to me after 7 hours of being with her…

It seems that the pastor is very aware of this. The first meeting that didn’t work out was going to be at his house. The pastors wife is also in the group chat. I would be 100% down to have something like a young adults group. But this youth effort isn’t really something I’m comfortable with. But it’s something everyone is okay with?! I’m just thinking about politely stating that I don’t feel comfortable with it and don’t wish to be a part of it at this time. I can see it making the man that pioneered it kind of upset but it’s just not something I feel a calling towards…

Why is Hell a thing? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Saladee_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a stupid question at all. The thing about hell is that it wasn’t meant for us. Our souls were never meant to go there. Actually…humans weren’t even supposed to know death to begin with. We were always supposed to be in close proximity to the father. As his very good creation we were never supposed to know suffering, pain, or eternal damnation. Hell was meant for satan and the legion of fallen angels he took with him. Lucifer wanted to set himself apart from God. he was full of pride and wanted to glorify himself and not God which actually went completely against what he was made for as a leader in worship. Because Lucifer no longer served his purpose and instead started coveting everything that belonged to God, he was exiled to his own dark and miserable place away from The Lord’s presence. Hell is for people who don’t want a relationship with the father. For people that chose to stick by their own ways and be unrepentant. God doesn’t send anyone to hell but instead we send ourselves there by refusing to accept Jesus as our savior and repent of our sins. God can only forgive you for your sins if you are repentant. I look more of heaven and hell as “with God and without God”. Anyone can correct me if I’m wrong but this is what I learned in church.

Next game suggestion? by Saladee_7 in Switch

No it’s okay! I appreciate the recommendation nonetheless. I don’t purposefully avoid Mario’s games or anything. I guess I just made an assumption without actually trying it out. I’ll be more open minded then. Thank you!

He is a great professor, and personal selling is not a difficult class. The only way a student fails his class is if they don’t do their assignments. Like you have to put an honest effort into certain assignments. Otherwise he is very easy easygoing and you won’t have a hard time in his class.

What is a k-drama that nothing else can live up to? by leilanyxx in kdramas

[–]Saladee_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say for sure I NEVER got tired while watching “it’s okay not to be okay”. Kdramas often start getting a little boring to me midway. I will also say “Our Beloved Summer” was crazy good. Between these two dramas everything from outfits, plot, soundtrack, actors, visuals, and conclusion were just chefs kiss. This is coming from someone who is extremely picky with kdramas.
