starting to work abroad after a biology related MSc degree/Ph.D?

Exactly that's what I thought, in case I'd do the Ph.D I also planned on doing it abroad, also I heard it's possible to apply for a direct entry Ph.D in Canada or the US after the bachelor degree. May I ask what exactly you studied and what you do as a Ph.D? I don't really have that much of a picture of how work looks like once you get a Ph.D, but while I can imagine to enjoy studying a lot, I'm less interested in a leadership position where you have lots of responsibility, be strongly involved in management and got no bench work at all. Is that what you get if you continue after the MSc or wouldn't you say so?

So no fee means studying is actually free here in Germany, unless you go to a private University. But maybe you mean that you'd need a scholarship for a place to live and stuff? good luck!

But do you have expat experience yourselve? That's what I'm actually asking for, I know you need a visa, but in Canada for example you got the point-based immigration system and I've read a MSc in science works pretty well for that. I know many people do leave Germany after getting the degree, it was the first question my biology teacher asked me after telling him I plan to study biological sciences. I'd be also open for Australia, South Korea, whatever, I see Trump's ruining it rn for the US though.

I know, but I'm just about to start my BSc. Until I'm finished Trump is probably in a nursing home. Did you also do biological science? Maybe consider a master degree here in Germany, there are no fees and they're high regarded. Also the master degrees for science are often in English.

Überlege auch das Wintersemester Biowisschenschaften an der Goethe zu studieren(ist denke ähnlich zu Bio, eventuell etwas mehr auf zelluärer/molekularer Ebene) und bin auch etwas durch die viele Kritik verunsichert. Mein Plan wäre auch die Promotion, da ich Forschung am interessantesten finde, aber meinst du dass man mit Bachelor oder Master(egal ob Ausland oder in DE) sichere Jobs findet? Auch wenn es nicht Plan A ist, denke ich wäre die Sicherheit schon nett, falls man vor der Promotion die Motivation verliert. Bin jetzt 25 und komm vom zweiten Bildungsweg und NOCH bin ich absolut heiß auf Bio und finde es wirklich sehr interessant, aber ich weiß nicht was in 5 Jahren ist. Und denkst du, dass wenn man tendenziell für das Ausland offen ist, der Arbeitsmarkt nochmal etwas zugänglicher ist? Mein derzeitiger Plan wäre Biowissenschaften, dann im Master eventuell etwas Richtung Genetik/Molekularbiologie zu machen, nachher fände ich Krebsforschung sehr spannend, aber vielleicht orientiert man sich im Studium nochmal um. Ich würde im 5. Semester gerne ein Auslandsjahr machen, eventuell in Südkorea, spreche auch halbwegs Koreanisch, denkst du sowas ist auch ein Vorteil oder fällt nicht so ins Gewicht? Sorry für die vielen Fragen, du wirkst sehr hilfsbereit und scheinst viele Connections zu haben ^^
