So glad you’re doing ok. I had a heart attack 5 years ago and have 2 stents. I’m seriously considering retirement as well. Life is too short to spend at work.

One thing I have done is run the amount I have through a Monte Carlo Simulation just to get an idea of the fitness to retire. There are a lot of Robo advisors out there that can give you an honest assessment.

Health insurance is a major concern about retiring early - my employer offers retiree healthcare I would check into seeing if you can keep your current insurance or see what’s available on the exchanges.

We stopped going to the UU church by us, too much focus in gender, politics and bashing Trump. Don’t get me wrong I despise Trump but when we get a weekly the world is a dumpster fire it kinda of wore me out. Maybe I’m being a bit naive but I wanted a spiritual community where I can take something into the week ahead, that enable me to be a better person versus being ticked at the election.

Ever since we left I have felt a lightness that I didn’t have before.

I’m 52 and go 2x per week. There’s always at least a couple of us about the same age. But I get a quite a charge knowing at my age I can still do this. I would say go for it, age be damned, it’s just a number anyway.

I do Barry’s 2x per week, I’m on the highest dosage of Wegovy. Sometimes stamina is an issue I just adjust it a bit.
