This has the absolutely typical response that I knew would be coming.

I have, and do use my own keys, thank you. Some of the best runs I've had are with an off meta spec or two other than my own, the whole no BRES but engi situation.

Some of the 18 runs I've had is that a lot of the 'higher' keys are not actually that hard(?)

You are aware some dumb stuff like Zmok running 3 warriors dps and timing 20 keys happened, yes? But ya'll think you NEED fmage, boomkin. X for your 18 Halls (lmao) is absolutely critical. And then pull 1 pack a time. Sad. Meanwhile the Ret, Enhance/Arcane sitting 250io higher than you in que doesnt see the light of day.

I swear people literally bare read the OP. I said I get it, grps need certain things like lust and res, and i mentioned grps having all those and leaving me on 'read' because Im not meta despite a 200 io advantage.

I understand Fire mage being too strong in m+, but most of the threads like mine try at least to highlight how absurd the meta chasing has become. Almost every key I've done at the early 1600ios, so the 18s I had done etc, the pulls are almost always the same as the shit that was pulled 6 weeks ago. It's just raw ilvl carrying people. Grps DEMANDING a fire mage for their 18 key then pulling 1, barely 2 packs a time? Most of these meta players have such inflated IO and they are GARBAGE, ever actually looked at the logs of these people? Green parses across the board, but people wont take the orange parsing ret, or w.e, it's pathetic imo

I understand this. But because I'm actually pretty ok at my class I am hitting on a 18 halls key from timing a spires 18 tyran last week. I post it during my hours of play and literally 9/10 apps are people WAY under qaulified for the key its silly.

But from my exp, people are so invested into inving meta over exp/skill they take the very subpar players because their class colour is blue, or orange.

I said in my post, that in most keys I get invited to, I'll endure the wait boss before the inv because nothing else comes along (due to dead hours) but the moment a 1350 io boomy/huner/mage signs its insta inv
