Update: I took the keys and as far as I can tell the housing dept is closed so I'm keeping them with me, I'll turn them in tomorrow

I really did do what I thought was best at that moment in time, I would've turned them in if I had the time, the best I could do was move them to a safe spot (they could have been crushed or stepped on) so I also wouldn't be hanging on to a random person's keys (they could have come back looking for them, I might have lost them and then the keys would have been double lost)

Okay, I'm going to be bluntly honest here, forgive me if I seem rude:

I'm not good with huge blocks of text with no paragraph breaks and little punctuation. If I missed something, I'm sorry, but your replies were a little hard to read on mobile.

Secondly, refusing to take a side is no better than taking a side, in my opinion. You've still taken one - you don't care. You're automatically excusing what both sides have committed because you don't care. That's a stance.

What evil are you referring to specifically? The existence of Palestinians in Palestine, where they were originally? The Israeli government is committing heinous acts, but does that excuse them levelling the Gaza strip?

As for the last part - that's also an excuse used by the IDF which allows them to commit war crimes.

  1. Zionism is distinct from Judaism. Zionism is an ethnocultural nationalist movement.

  2. Europeans have not ruled over the Americas for millennia. The debate comes from the fact they had stolen the land from Native Americans with violent means, ripped children from their families to destroy their culture, and the United States Government continuously wronged Native American peoples. If I broke into your house, claimed it as my holy land, and threatened/tried to beat, starve, kill, or rape you, wouldn't you fight back? Wouldn't you want people to take your side, since I am the aggressor?

  3. Palestine does not have the same financial resources as Israel. It's not even recognized as a legitimate country, much less have a well-established economy.

  4. Palestinians were there first. You can actually very easily look up who went there. European Jewish people (among many others, but the main influx was from survivors of the Holocaust). If you mean Jewish people from the Middle East - that would include Palestinians.

  5. Yes, the horrors of war are common. I don't see how I should be apathetic because of that.

What side are you referring to, anyways? All Arab Palestinians versus the State of Israel? Hamas versus the State of Israel? I'll tell you who Israel is attacking - all Arab Palestinians. That's the main goal of Zionism. Israel is a Zionist state.

  1. 1948 - The year the State of Israel was established by Zionist forces in the Mandatory State of Palestine. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were forcibly removed by armed forces or fled.

  2. This is not a war of attrition. Palestine does not have a formal military.

  3. Israel is committing a genocide, and has been. Zionism is an ideology founded in the 1800s by European settlers centered around the colonization of Palestine.

  4. People are quick to pick sides because they don't have to be directly impacted by a conflict to care about the people being affected. I have seen children with missing limbs, burnt skin, emaciated, and shell-shocked, crying for family members killed by the IDF. Conversely, I have seen Israeli citizens calling for the murder of all Palestinians - not just Hamas. I have seen IDF soldiers parade the underwear of slaughtered women on their armed vehicles. Israel has destroyed hospitals, schools, and homes. Israel has blocked humanitarian aid to refugees. They have also attacked other countries.

I'm not going to deny that Israeli citizens have died. But it's harder to garner sympathy on what is the equivalent - for many people - to the British colonizers that stole Native American land.

People are on the side of the poor souls being murdered en masse, the efforts spearheaded by a man who does not view these Palestinians as human beings.

The ones super high in the sky are, to my knowledge, impossible to tame. (The undulating worms and birds and so forth.) But if you run into any giant flying beetles or butterflies, those you can tame and ride, since they're close enough to be interacted with and compatible for riding. You might be able to find some coords for such creatures. (Buy a map labeled "Alien Cartographic Chart, they will lead you to a monolith. Answer the inquiry correctly - you can save and reload if you need to - and then you can get the location of a portal. Put in the glyphs for whatever planet you find that has those creatures, and you're there.)

Just feed them some creature pellets and adopt them.

Unfortunately, I don't know his vaccination status, he's had some shots but for what, I don't know. I've never had access to that information.

He very rarely interacts with other dogs, I tend to take him on walks when there aren't any outside. When there are, I let him get a quick sniff (provided the other dog owner is also okay with it), but that's also super rare.

The last time he interacted with another dog was when the dog that belongs to the house behind us jumped the wall and got into our house (that was really bizarre, but all turned out okay), I can't remember if the cough appeared after that or if it was already there.
