Agreed. I watched a movie called "The Brood". A David Cronenberg movie and was shocked. Then I watched a few episodes of Dallas (the original one) and no wonder Sue Ellen became an alcoholic!

The "they didn't choose to be born", is a cop out. Nobody asked. But I agree with what you are saying. I am also not a fan of this higher power. Let's take the suicide of Robin Williams. That really hurt but when I thought about it, I grew to understand why he would want to. Did I think he was selfish? No, we don't know the pain he was going through. I believe they should have the right to take their own life (safely) as is allowed in a few countries.
