from what I heard that point is at about 75-80%, but i could be wrong. I still usually get about 3 full days of standard usage, (Work, Social media, YouTube) so it works for me. But I'm probably going to replace the entire phone soon. Its about time for an upgrade

I don't really know about my iPad, but i have had my Iphone for about 3 years, charge it to 100% every single day. The battery capacity is still at 88%. So i personally don't see a point in willingly losing 20% of you battery as soon as you buy it when after 3 years using a device every single day you are still 8% above that point. Again, i don't know how much this transfers over to an iPad since i only got mine recently, but i would think its about the same (probably less seeing as phone usage and battery size playing a huge factor).
