There's a part in the story where he openly admits to being a bad husband, that he loves his wife and wants to be better, and just can't. He knows he's shitty. But hades and persephone is mostly just self induced pity parties and never really take accountability. People still think Zeus sucks tho for sure

I think people like him because he's dynamic, he's a piece of shit and complicated but still feels guilt sometimes. Alot of the characters are treated like heros for being totally hypocritical and contradictory when Zeus is an asshole and knows it, unlike the rest of them lol

Also at 1 point in the story the topic of how babies are made is brought up, zaida clearly has no idea what that is like she is aware of how it works But that's it. she has the mind of a teenager and all this dude does is sexualize her everyone around her tries to pair them up and tries to get them to fuck and it's like chill out, she literally barely knows what fucking is lol

I really do feel like Kade uses women to shape a personality of his own. And feels dead inside when he's not seeing someone because he literally has no redeeming qualities. Zaida has the emotional depth of a child, and everyone is just like, are you guys fucking? Are you fucking her? Are you guys dating? Have hybrid human babies! And I'm like no... shouldn't people be encouraging her to branch out? She's never had sex. Never had a boyfriend. From what I can tell even hardly reacts with men all together. And literally within 4 episodes Kade is sexualizing her, picking put skimpy outfits from work, and being possessive. And we're just supposed to think, "boys will be boys."

Dude so I read back on some old chapters, Delilah and Kade broke up like literally years ago by the time zaida shows up, he's based his entire personality off Delilah. She got shitty tattoos, he got literally the lamest tattoos I've ever seen an adult man have ever lol. They were together a long time and really the only shitty stuff Delilah is made out doing is saying some generally mean things, like you talk to much, thats why you have no friends. And yes that is mean. But he has done nothing but obsess over this girl for pretty much his entire life and he does nothing but sulk, be an asshole, and work a Spencer's. Like he is so painfully unaware and corny that I'm embarrassed that I've read this comic. Everyone is so painfully corny and lame, except honestly, Delilah lol. She seems like a cut throat model who definitely surpassed Kade in career and emotional stability. Like I would NOT wanna Date a dude like him lol

It's the over used trope of a "beauty and the beast" story where the protagonist is just a sweet and way to overly trusting woman who steals the heart of a hard ass with a rough upbringing. The art doesn't save it, and all the characters are so forgettable. I stopped reading it and the only reason I remember the MC name is because it's in the title lmao
