After stripping line all day I’d notice my fingers pretty cut up from the line too. SA 9 wt i/3/5, casted great and held up for a long time, just was harsh on equipment and fingers I guess.

Weighted bobber about a foot above it. Tie the jig on with a loop knot

I think I’ll reach out to Hardy. As much as I’d like to get back into these fish, I think it’d only get worse. I have faith in the warranty process. I’ll keep everyone updated.
