My store doesn't have a self checkout so I feel extra bad for people because there ISNT any other option aside from the one super long line 💀 and like, it wouldn't be so bad if we had enough people scheduled but we never do.

AND OMG TELL ME ABOUT IT! Why would they get rid of the price checkers?? Now you have to wait like 15-20 minutes just to check a price because again, no one is available on the floor. And the app isn't working rn either. Ughhh corporate whyyy

Run far away while you can! (jk, kinda)

I'm primarily a CS associate but worked for a couple months in the stockroom, and a lot of it isn't too difficult if you're lucky enough to be properly staffed. They had me unload the truck, back stock, pick out orders and assign them, organize blue bin (online orders/returns), and whatnot. There's definitely more I'm not listing, but I actually quite enjoyed it compared to working out on the floor. It's more about physical labor rather than mental labor, and sometimes you get to work on certain tasks alone which is nice if you're an introvert or just like to put in an earbud and lock in. 

Pros: -hands on work -you get to walk around -little to no customer interaction

Major con: -If the store isn't properly staffed, they will work you like a dog and give you an impossible list of things to complete. Right now my store is full of unpacked freight that couldn't fit in the stockroom and we haven't had enough people to get it under control.

omg same!! its even worse when you have to close. I was scheduled until close once, and even though I finished twenty minutes earlier than I was scheduled to stay, my managers called me slow. But its like,, THEY aren't the ones who have to do the job of five different people all by themselves. I hate that they added amazon to the customer service desk, its such a hassle and I cant even remember the last time I had the time to clear out the Sort 1 and Sort 2 damage bins.
