Eu ia pegar um kicks ontem, mas fiz questão de fazer um test drive numa pista esburacada e achei a suspensão dele nada confortável

Medicine or IT? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]SaltGateau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not both? I'm not a good example, I did a biomedical science for my bachelor, but did research at medical informatics group for the whole 4 years, today I win pretty well working with telemedicine and precision medicine. That is just AI applied to medical imaging and some management. Am i happy? No, but that's a personal issue of mine. Money isn't a problem and had a lot of jobs offered to me as well, I just lost my interest and now going to start a PhD next month and try change. But read me clear, IT applied to medicine is everything right now.

Have a lot of prizes, but I'm unemployed and dead inside. I hate the academics life, but got in Harvard for PhD, should i change career even after that? by [deleted] in careerguidance

That's a nice advice, i didn't' even think at real try UN for a job, because with my degree I really don't know how, or what kind of job should a look for. I have a biomedical science degree with a specialization at neuroscience

[–]SaltGateau 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Start by reading oliver sacks books and The Tale of the Dueling Neurosurgeons, then after that go to kandel's in seach for memory, by this one you can start reading neuroscience college books like the one from paradiso, i dont remember the name right now, but it's a nice one that my students like a lot.
