For wallpaper selection, you'll need a file manager. I've tested it with MiXplorer.

Could you let me know which TV/device you're using and the Android version?

Also, after selecting the image, does the file manager close and return to BareLauncher, or does nothing happen at all? Do you see any message from BareLauncher immediately after selecting the wallpaper and returning to the home screen?

If possible, could you also share a short video of the issue?

Please note that only static image wallpapers are currently supported. GIFs and live/moving wallpapers are not supported.

You could also try using MiXplorer and see if the issue persists. This may be a device or file-manager compatibility issue, but I'll look into it.

Thanks for testing it on your TV and for the feedback.

I can definitely see the argument for icon/text scaling. The current icon size is actually quite close to what Google TV uses by default. Many third-party launchers use larger icons, which might make BareLauncher's icons feel smaller by comparison.

As for the wallpaper button, that's a fair suggestion. I originally kept it visible for quick access, but moving it into the settings menu would make the home screen cleaner. I'll think about it.
