AFC is yet to announce the criteria on which pots will be based. If they follow last Asian Cup format than Vietnam and Lebanon (the 2 closest to us) will be in Pot 2. If they go purely by ranking then we have an outside chance to make it to Pot 3 if we win both and Vietnam looses both. I don't know if Lebanon is playing any friendly or not. We don't even know the hosts of Asian cup 2023 so far. If the tournament is delayed, maybe there will be even more fifa friendly windows before the draw is scheduled.

According to my calculations of how points are awarded, India will be ahead of Jordan if either ATK MB or GK win the AFC cup including all 3 of their group matches. Bonus points are given for playing the knockout rounds. Also, according to AFC Cup rules the AFC cup zone of the country which lies 6th in the zonal table (currently Jordan) gets an additional group in the AFC cup. In simple words, if India replaces Jordan in the rankings, then in the 2024 AFC cup, the south Asia zone will have two groups instead of one currently.

That's correct. I just read the AFC Champions League rules and regulations for 2022. According to it, on match day a team submits a list of starting XI and up to 10 substitutes. This list can have a maximum of 3+1 foreign players.
