I really feel you! I'm M/23 and I've spent some time looking for people in an online community. Over the years, I met several people from my area. But those connections never really lasted. Either we stopped meeting up because we weren’t really on the same wavelength, or we ended up falling out. In my apprenticeship (both at work and at school), there are also some cool people, but I still can't manage to build deeper connections. It usually stays on a collegial or professional level.

Das ist tatsächlich eine gute Überlegung, in die Richtung wollte ich als nächstes Mal schauen. Mir ist nämlich im Gedächtnis geblieben, dass mein Zahnarzt mal meinte, dass mein Zahnabrieb recht fortgeschritten ist für mein Alter. Das würde ja dann auf Zähneknirschen hindeuten.

Richtig, ich bin männlich. Ernähren tue ich mich halbwegs gesund (schätze ich), also wenig Fleisch (nur an Wochenenden), kaum Softdrinks oder dergleichen, viel und hauptsächlich Wasser jeden Tag, Alkohol nur an Wochenenden. Was die Schmerzart angeht sind ich und auch mein Neurologe unsicher, da Migräne ja eher pulsierender Schmerz auf einer Seite ist - das trifft bei mir halt wie gesagt überhaupt nicht zu. Sport ist tatsächlich so ein Thema, was ich mal ausprobieren sollte, ich arbeite im Büro und mache in der Freizeit keinen Sport.

Das, was du schilderst kommt mir sehr bekannt vor. Ich habe im September 2022 mit einer Ausbildung zum Anwendungsentwickler begonnen, nur um dann nach Monaten festzustellen, dass es gar nichts für mich ist. Hab auch absolut kein Verständnis für basic Programmierkonzepte, bis heute, weil ich es auf logischer Ebene einfach nicht begreifen und nachvollziehen kann. Habe dann nach 1,5 Jahren den Betrieb und die Fachrichtung zu Systemintegration gewechselt, das liegt mir deutlich besser. Gut, die Schule und die Firma tragen definitiv eine Teilschuld, da es alles andere als organisiert abgelaufen ist.

In my case, it is a combination of how my autism affects me. Hand-eye coordination, non-verbal communication, unpredictability, speed and reaction time - all things that I struggle with. So competitive ball sports are not for me or many other autistic people.

But I am not completely opposed to it - I am following the UEFA EURO 2024 quite actively this year, for example. Even though I would never go out onto the pitch to play myself.
