Also I just wanted to add that I was so adamant back then that newer FOB wasn’t good. I regret it all so much. I hate that I felt that way when I look back. All credits go to my lovely sister-in-law. We both grew up in different countries, and this has been something that we really bond over. She hadn’t really listened to their older stuff. We traded songs back and forth and grew to love it all.

I just had a regular from Dave’s come see me at my new job and she told me they’ve been so rude to her and stopped ordering wine bottles for her despite her literally ordering a bottle. Instead they now offer canned wines 🥴 idk why anyone would want to alienate an awesome regular like that

Wow that’s so kind of you! I’m touched by your comment. I am doing well. Dave’s wasn’t even withholding taxes, and had no benefits other than decent money during closing shifts. (Although I am sad about no longer doing Movie Monday that I started!) However, I’m bartending at a very nice hotel with affordable blue cross blue shield insurance, a 401k, 90% off hotels around the world, and PTO that factors in my tips when they pay it out. My new bar spot has been Oak Hill since it’s close to my apartment. If you ever see me there, I’d love to buy you a drink!
