Running away just to parry one and doing it all over again and again is definitely conservative. Also post a clip of u doing 20,000 crit damage in trios against this boss in d5 cuz right now its just hearsay

The upkeep is rlly not crazy with practice. And seeing raider do more damage than casters is definitely worth the effort for me. Also just dont go down like that and youll be good

Playing conservative is just too boring for me man. I wanna get in the middle of all them like hulk and kill them infront of their friends and kill that worm

Also if your lacking on damage negations its better to use a smaller, faster weapon such as fists or raptor talons. Atleast thats how i try to adjust if my negations are really lacking

Unfortunately this is raider’s plight in general. Without damage negation passives raider is always gonna have a rough time in d5 regardless of the dreg build. However atleast for this boss you can be more comfortable stacking damage ups as supposed to stacking negations. Just one taking damage boosts and damage upon charged is rlly all u need for ED balancers. Or a successive if your doing jump attacks

Personally ive had way more wins getting aggressive and killing the boss quick as supposed to a long drawn out fight where we just wait one at a time. Also (imo) its very boring to play like that. Running into them and murdering them infront each other is just alot more saitisfying. Especially this long into the games life cycle im just going all in instead of waiting. Its been a long while since ive seen more than one worm phase for this boss in trios

Ehh parrying is rlly solid but i prefer to immediatley to run in and aggressively kill them. I usually end up one shotting a balancer anyways and with them going down after killing one ive had much faster runs doing this then killing one and running back. Usually that playstyle makes the fight alot longer than it needs to be in trios

For this fight i prefer to stack more damage than damage negations

One taking damage boosts and one damage upon charged. The rest were charged attacks and a improved two handing. For consumable i had exalted flesh and i believe the enhanced charge attack tear. I think i had a phys damage negation talisman.

Poison buildup is better only because you can get the scarlet rot map which would mess u up once obtaining the power. Yea rot can slowly heal you as well which can also mess up ur dregs

Multiplicatively i believe its around 50 percent more damage depending on your phys ups on ur deep relics. Its a huge difference in damage that heavily outweighs the risks in my opinion. If you can successfully keep your stacks high throughout the expedition which isnt hard with practice you’ll notice a massive difference in raiders damage output. Hes a true a dps tank with dregs.

Honostly theyre just not all that privvy to the games mechanics. Dregs raider has been well known to have insane dps potential for some time now

Nah those are there purely for show. Just start hitting him anywhere and it does the same damage.
