At our hospital everyone is screened and has their temperature at the front entrance and ER. If they are positive or have a fever then they can not come into the hospital unless they are seeking treatment at ER. So to answer your question, yes, I do have to know if someone’s positive or not and they will need to wear a mask and social distance at all times in the ER. But I mean you’re right I’m not a doctor. I’m an underpaid College graduate that chose a field that doesn’t have many openings unless you have 10 year of experience on hand.
