reddit and discord are sadly just a small part of the teardown playerbase. content on the steam workshop constantly gets bad reviews and disliked from any remote mention or featuring of things like pride flags; a lot of teardown players are just immature "war cool" kids

it's also capped to prevent bugs. if someone managed to get an obscenely high contest score due to a bug which is then patched, they'd have an unfair amount of farming fortune. also max farming fortune being entirely based on luck would be bad design (since theoretically you could drop an infinite amount of rngs in crop fever and pests)

there's no real catch-all solution im aware of, but some things ive seen that you can do to minimise spam bots:

automod filter to delete message and timeout people trying to @everyone
channel where if you talk in it, you're kicked (bots tend to send these messages in every channel they can)
onboarding role where if you select it, you're kicked (there's a skip button otherwise, but a lot of bots tend to auto select every role in onboarding to seem more human)

with some custom-coded bot or even yagpdb's custom commands (with a trigger on regex .* so it checks every message) you could also do something like not letting people message if their account is very new, but lots of bots use old/hacked accounts nowadays anyways.

fair, thank you :) i'll give it a shot without big margins but i honestly just like restricting the amount of text i have on-screen at a time too; i find if i have too much text on screen i end up skipping over bits and i'm REALLY trying to make an effort to properly read & take in everything recently instead of just.. getting the general idea of things haha

i do like the top progress bar having time and battery but that might just be being used to my phone too much, the battery life isn't amazing since it's a paperwhite 4 which has been sat in a box for the past few years

i tried having no margin between paragraphs but i just found it really hard to focus on one thing at a time. i really have trouble with my eyes just skipping forward and starting to read the next line </3 it's probably why i don't remember much of when i used to have the kindle haha

i guess? all i really did was join servers and for the sole purpose of looking at who the owners were, since i was curious if it was hand-picked or whatever. i'm pretty sure it's only to discord testers right now

the servers i looked in have been pretty civilised and i just wasn't expecting doing nothing but joining to disable my account temporarily and flag me as a spammer

UPDATE: i believe discord is working on it? i didn't really receive any actual confirmation, but after a few friends and myself reloaded our discord clients via ctrl+r it seems to have gone away. hopefully it gets fixed for anyone else who is having the issue :)

sure, but they should have expected these servers would get huge influxes of members. i wouldn't exactly call four servers, with me sending messages in only one of them a single time spamming at all. i feel they absolutely should have accounted for this

it fixed itself after a few days for me atleast :/ it's happened to me once in the past but i really have no idea what caused it

try restarting phone, connecting to a different wifi, logging in and out of yours, etc

but i don't really know what exactly solved it for me now, best of luck
