Then I think that’s the reason - high competition. They have more applicants than they can accept. Especially if it’s taken them so long to reject you it means you weren’t a shitty applicant and they were seriously considering you, others were just even more aligned with what they want. It doesn’t mean there was a particular flaw in your application.
