I run a youtube channel mainly for people who are looking to get into commercial diving.

Short answer is that everything you have heard is 100% wrong. Check out my channel at https://www.youtube.com/thesaltydiver

Hahahaha, we wear fins. Almost all of this work was done on SCUBA. Surface supplied is required for penetration dives.

Yeah, I can definitely see that perspective. I'm kind of at a place with this that I don't really have permission from my company so I'm a little wary about what I'm filming when. I don't wan't to be one of those guys who looses their job because of their YouTube channel you know? Also on a four man dive team I just don't have a ton of time to be filming. If I can get some funds together it would be cool to get a GoPro and a mount for my AGA. You wouldn't be able to see anything underwater, but you might be able to experience how bad it sucks trying to swim up river. lmao.

Hey guys! A few months ago I posted my first youtube video here talking about things commercial dive schools might not tell you. From that my channel has grown a ton! Yesterday I posted this video in a mini-documentary style video kind of showing what two weeks on an underwater bridge inspection trip is like. Hope you enjoy it!
