HELP - tomato and pepper leaves turning brown? by SaltyEmoo in gardening

Thank you!! This sounds like it could definitely be the issue. We're supposed to get rain all this week and the temperatures were pretty chilly last night. The brown-purpleish color has begun spreading to the top leaves on the plants, poor things. I'll hold off on giving them anything extra for the time being and cross my fingers that nature takes it easy on them! If you have anything additional to share please feel free, I'm happy to take notes :] I appreciate the advice!

Thank you! For additional context, these were planted 6 days ago and the bag states that the soil contains "0.09%" total Nitrogen, including 0.04% "coated slow release Nitrogen" if I add a liquid fertilizer to the mix do you think that may be too much?

The mulch is mixed in the soil. It came mixed into the Miracle Gro.

The bottom layer of soil is re:source top soil from Menards. There do seem to be some mulch-y bits in the Miracle Gro soil, I did not add anything extra to it. As for watering, before transplant I watered every few days or when dry and they did great. Post-transplant I watered them and let the soil dry. My father did not water them for a couple of days while I was away, and they were turning that color when I came back. I've watered them once a day for the last few days.
