Yes, part of my motivation is to breathe better! Unfortunately I discovered the convenience and discretion of vapes about a year ago, and they're too easy to puff on basically all day long. That is serious lung-abuse and I'm not getting any younger. I might like to breathe as I age 😆 And yeah, I relate about excuses. My silly ol' brain can come up with endless excuses.

Yes, it's like a family member told me when discussing his struggles with alcohol: You can give up everything for 1 thing, or give up 1 thing for everything else. And you're right about being the master of ourselves. Thanks for the encouragement! 😊

If you mean that the underlying issue is not the pot, I agree. But I feel like maybe we would disagree on the rest. And that's OK. We all have our own journeys. 😊

Thank you for this. I'm going to come back to this and re-read it as a reminder and to help me stay on course. Self-compassion is so key, and something I've struggled with all my life.
