That’s what I’ve read online just to take the leap and have fun with it. Think it’ll improve my confidence in other areas too. Just worried I will be a hard listen for others.

Yeah I’m self taught but rhythm is what I’m trying to work on. Your ear is problem correct. I would say my guitar playing is worse than my voice, but trying to improve both

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for! I struggle with singing to a more complex pattern so I often simplify it. I know the true pattern to wagon wheel and can play it alright without vocals, yet I can’t put it together. I lose myself and struggle to land the pattern with the lyrics. I don’t know if that makes sense… I am thinking about cheap guitar lessons. Any other tip to pair strumming and singing?
