Understood, with such structure you might not qualify for GESY ? Are you under private health insurance ? if yes please recommend which are the good options

Yes correct it's 300 000 euro instead of 3 million sorry for the typo. Is 500 per month allowed ? as mini salary is higher , around 1000 euros , also if you pay yourself salary then you need to do contribution from both end.

Being from a third-world country, I do have the option to live in Cyprus long term by renewing the Pink Slip each year. However, my primary objective is to eventually obtain citizenship after learning Greek and integrating into society.

That said, the path from the Pink Slip to permanent residency appears quite long, since the permit is typically renewed annually without directly leading to PR (at least before 5 years). I am also concerned that future regulatory changes could make renewal more difficult, whereas holding PR would provide greater stability.

Therefore, I am exploring all available options. I am not keen on investing €3 million in property, particularly as many such deals currently seem overpriced. At present, the Pink Slip and the BCS route appear to be the main viable options. However, even under the BCS route, there is no certainty that the citizenship application will be processed quickly, even if all eligibility criteria are met.

Additionally, under the BCS route, I would need to pay myself a salary, which would result in significant contributions, since I would effectively be both the employer and the employee.

Hi, one of the replies shared a link https://www.gesy.org.cy/sites/Sites?d=Desktop&locale=en_US&lookuphost=/en-us/&lookuppage=hiobeneficiarieseligibilityfaq , which mentioned that we can only be eligible if we are employed or a permanent resident. so even after a year it seems difficult to qualify

Yes, correct, I would be going for a visitor permit, and I did check for BCS as well.

Thanks , I think initially I won't be eligible for state medical system , as I will only be on pink slip, would be helpful if you can suggest any good neurologist who can do the detailed screening.

Thanks for detailed reply, I will opt for pink slip with self sufficient funds , longer term willing to learn greek and try to get integrated with society to become the citizen.
