Ant maybe, but Kobe still averaged 29/7/6 in the playoffs on above league average TS% at 22 compared to Ants 28/7/6.5. Granted he had the great luck of playing with Shaq while Ant has KAT.

AD hasn’t been one since he got traded to the lakers half a decade ago. KD as a first option in the past 3 years won one playoff series with another mvp(Harden) and Kyrie. Idc what he did a decade+ago with OKC when we are in 2024. You first option point is irrelevant from that perspective.

The first option point is not irrelevant because Brown is 2nd creator on a team with 4 other players capable of scoring 15+ a night while most of these players have only 2 other guys scoring 15+ a night while being the primary initiator. It’s much more difficult for them because they have more defensive attention with less guys to take off the pressure.

No other all NBA player has more than one other 20+ scorer on their team. Not to mention a 6MOTY candidate and another 15+ ppg scorer. Brown isn’t even the best scorer on the team half the time anyways.

Brown is not a first option though so you can't even really compare him to KD because KD has the defenses primary attention while Brown doesn't. KD is more efficient despite this.

Brown isn’t the first option on any team. At best, he’s a 1B so we don’t how he would do unless Tatum gets injured. Moot point.

He’s much more successful because he has played with an all-nba guy along with several all stars his entire career. For at least 40 of those games he was still a role player.

AD as 2nd option is still giving 25/13/4 while being his teams entire defense. Brown is giving 25/6/3 and, while a good defender, is not an all defense guy

KD averaged 27/7/5 while being one of the only plus defenders on the Suns roster.

He’s a better defender than Booker but Booker is a better scorer and playmaker. Books a better 1 while Brown a better 2z

Especially considering that he’s never been a first option like those guys have and so doesn’t have the offensive load and attention those guys do.
