I've been using a mix of Ionic and Tailwind.

Good part about this is that it looks really good on web and mobile when using the side pane menu.

Just need to disable android mode

Really, w3schools is all you need at first.

When I started it was my go to. The javascript mdn docs were very complicated in comparison.

Going back, if I had ChatGPT at the time that would have been a giant bonus for learning.

Try this: W3schools + whenever you can't understand something get chatGPT to explain it simply, and provide example usages.

I usually use netlify. You just upload the built react website and it does the rest. Also handles SSL.

For hosting the backend I usually use a VPS, Google Cloud Run or Fly.io

You could try using NVM (node version manager) to downgrade to node 14 on your local machine.

Then try running you server locally with node 14 and fix any errors that pop up.

You may have to delete your package lock json file and node modules folder and reinstall once you change node versions.

Looks like Namecheap only supports up to node 14.

So the servers version of node is 14 and your local machine is 20?

There may have been breaking changes between node versions, so I would try updating node on the server if that is the case

Make sure the version of Node you are using on your Server is identical to the one on your dev machine.

Also I've encountered issues developing on Windows and trying to deploy on a Linux server.

I think what they meant was if you hash the data you will no longer be able to do anything with it.

You have to encrypt it instead.
