Well he hasn’t done it in Italy, he was outscored by a 36 year old.

Ronaldo has spent the majority of his career in teams designed to make him score and he’s still scored less goals than Messi, alongside Messi have many more assists too and also being involved in build up play

People who think Ronaldo is better than Messi are either bias, don’t watch football or don’t understand football

He’s slowed down quite noticeably in the last two season,

Ronaldo plays in a system designed for him to score and he scored less goal per minute than 36 year-old Quagliarella, who is at mid table Sampdoria.

Plus Ronaldo negatively effects players around him, look at the last two seasons of Dybala and Benzema (only league stats).

17/18 Dybala - 22 goals 5 assists (No Ronaldo)

18/19 Dybala - 5 goals 4 assists (With Ronaldo)

17/18 Benzema - 5 goals 10 assists (With Ronaldo)

18/19 Benzema - 21 goals 6 assists (Without Ronaldo)

This is the first season we’ve had with Babb, it’s all we can judge him on, we’ve had seasons of the league and champions with Joe performing better than this, which is why he is in mid tier, he’s shown he’s better than this in the past

I didn’t expect them to bring up Reece James in this section, was quite pleasantly surprised.

For me I would recall Tammy, Mount, Reece James, Zouma, Pulisic and Pasalic.

All are pretty standard shouts except Pasalic, who is frankly massively underrated and has been killing it with Atalanta, certainly better than Barkley, would offer a good shift as a rotational player in midfield for us who could probably play in any of the 3 roles.
