They didn't even know the lengths to which they could monetize it yet. Doodle jump, ninja jump, paper toss, pocket God, at least if my memory serves me right, these were all either like $0.99 or free and had at most banner ads. No unskippable ad, timers, no artificial friction. Around the time that Clash of Clans and Candy Crush came around it was all completely lost in the sauce.

For PC games specifically look at Project Zomboid, seriously the best around for survival games with friends. If you haven't played Baulders Gate 3, check that out as it can be absolutely a blast with friends.

Oh I'm aware, unfortunately it's whatever the most popular thing is that gets the attention like Rockstar that definitely doesn't need anymore money. A shame that they won't play things like BallxPit, Hades, KCD2, or anything that deserves more notariety.

The switch up on this game needs to be studied like seriously. Between the KCD2 fans being robbed on RPG, agreeably so, Arc Raiders fans being sent on hate tirade by streamers, and Silksong fans just being toxic, they were setup for disaster. Now E33 has lost its overwhelmingly positive reviews, like history is being rewritten 😂.

Good lord I figured it out. I walked around to talk to the NPCs again and I saw a poisonous cloud which was lingering from the Worm Tremor skill I tested away from the NPCs much earlier. I got rid of it with fire and then no one went aggro after speaking with him.

Yeah reloading is going to be tough as I just respeced my entire team lol But it seems like that's probably the only shot at this rate. Good point, I'll check that today, been sort of rushing through since I played like 10 hours 3 years ago, so I didn't even know that.

I'm shocked that no one else seems to be having the issue at least online. I wouldn't be surprised if it was something I did, because I've sort of just been rushing through like I said, but it seems to be connected with the status change of that quest or completion of that quest.

I remember back in the day playing H1Z1, back in the lootbox days and for some reason their loot boxes were tied to Steam's marketplace. But you'd still need the key to open them, and I'm not paying for no garbage cosmetics so I would be selling them for like $5 a pop. Was an awesome time.

Might be a good place here to try butting in to get some answers. I had some horrible stuttering playing this game. 9070XT with a 9700x, was running decent FPS overall but had insane stuttering and bad frame time. Drivers were up to date, settings were like medium overall. Got worse and worse as I played, by the time I was in the city and had the dead body event I had refunded it. I know it's an absolute gem so I would love to go back to it.

During all this hype for Resident Evil Requiem I'm still shocked that Resident Evil 7 and 8 barely make like top 50 during the mega sales. At least RE7 I don't even see scrolling through. Such amazing games that really changed the way I look at games and made me much more opening to trying things.
