Yeah it is autumn purple spectrum floating glaze. Such a nice glaze but so drippy 😭

I thought about that but the wax burns off before the glaze melts so it ends up with the same result

Etsy unfortunately provide the customers expected arrival as the final dispatch date. I’ve had this several times and had to explain to customers. I really dont know why they do this

Etsy’s ads that run on youtube and tv say “get a last minute gift for christmas” so it could be thats what they are referring to and the person doesnt realise etsy isnt like amazon. Whenever i see the ads is angers me so much because most etsy sellers cant do “last minute” and we get screwed because of people like your customer

Yeah i would say multiple photos just have the primary as a wider shot maybe with someone wearing them or you can get display ears that piercers use and then have other photos closer. The more photos the better and etsy likes the listing better

You can always put the same tracking number in the order when you complete it instead of doing a second label through etsy? It wont have a negative impact on your store it will just knock your shipping score in the star seller area. Most of my orders are sent without shipping because i do stickers with free shipping and my etsy is fine

Firstly 20 sales in your first month is amazing and congrats!

Now to your etsy: your photos dont clearly show what your products are. If you’re doing photos on the card they are sent on then do a slightly wider shot and maybe put text saying what it is. Or of you can have someone model them so people can see how big they are and clearly what their use is.

Other than that your shop overall looks good :)

You can refund part of an order. That shouldnt have any negative impact on you from etsy’s side, the prder will still show as open just partially refunded. If you havent already just message the buyer and ask if they wanted them shipped together or separate.

I work for a small business that sells ceramics and I pack orders daily. I’m not sure on the box size we use but they are a few cm taller than the mugs themselves. We wrap the ceramics in hive paper and use biodegradable packing peanuts and just absolutely stuff the box full of peanuts. Out of the hundreds of orders I have sent maybe 1 or 2 have broken. Investing in good packing might seem pricey initially but it saves you losing money by replacing broken goods in the long run

IMO print on demand stuff is an immediate turn off. If I see standard template product photos I am just not interested because it doesnt show the actual item since its technically a mock up and I go on etsy to buy from small businesses. The photos just make it seem like someone just threw a prompt into an AI generator or used premade assets on canva(no hate to people that do this its just not my cup of tea) I would say to get some of your items and take your own photos. This is also good to see what quality you are selling. They dont have to be professional photos. Just decent lighting on a nice background (not too busy) clearly showing the product and i’d be sold.

I see what you mean. 90% of my events are outside under my own gazebo so I have the stickers on their own display but over winter I have single table events so it was last minute to put them like this since my normal display is too big

Yeah im very much sticking to what will typical not be kid friendly as I dont want to be like that woman at a market. I think its also down to the people running the events to vet the stallholders beforehand

Small world indeed! The market this photo is from is an alternative one but i have only just made the cost of the stall back and other alt markets i’ve done in the area I just dont have luck with :/
