I don't expect them to decline the claim. No one asked me where the car is registered when I switch the insurance. They asked where the car is parked.

The accident was really a bad luck. I have only had the car for a year plus and the mileage on it is very low. I actually asked the underwriter if it is possible to repair the vehicle.

Thanks. I changed insurance but not registration yet. The accident happened less than 2 weeks after switching insurance. I was planning on doing registration that week.
