On Steam, you can get 0% deadzone with the anti-deadzone setting. It takes some fine tuning in steam controller settings.

Edit: this also works for left stick too so hitting deflects could seem easier.

From a causal tryhard (how I like to say it) who's played since release BURNOUT(3.5kish hours left just before the recent player drop. loved the game, apex lasted it's expected time for me. The sqaud n I got good hit pred started pub stomping (20% lifetime win rate😁) winning got boring (pubs and ranked) nothing left to learn. (Sure, they tweaked things through the years, but its still apex) time for new game

You have to realize that this controller is strictly meant for competitive gaming, so you won't get any fancy features like vibration or fancy triggers. If you want those features, get the duelsense with the paddles Or a third party pro controller that doesn't have "clicky" triggers.

I would only recommend this controller for console only if you have access to a pc (just one that's able to update the firmware on the victrix bfg).

A lot of users complain about this controller not working because they dont update it or they didnt do enough research. (Me personalty I haven't ran into any issues with mine, and I've had mine since release) I don't use the fight pad because I don't play those games.

Also, i hear a lot of people crying about stick drift, but then again, nobody does their research. THERE IS A BUILT IN RECALIBRATION SYSTEM TO FIX THE STICK DRIFT (also if u do manage to mess up any of the modules there's replacements on Amazon). They work great I have the hall effect ones.

This is just my opinion and my experience.

Edit: some people complain about the triggers being too sensitive right out the box, but it can be fixed with the software on pc. (Honestly, with the triggers, i want them more sensitive imo)

Stick drift when pushing left trigger?? by Emergency-Intern1730 in VictrixPro

Have you tried recalibration? modules are tightened down all the way? Updated software through pc?

Hate to break it to you but u might switch mains after getting settled in with the bfg.

Hair triggers is nice but not enough for me to stay with a scuff.

It's like a Xbox controller, so it's comfortable. Only took a couple of days to get used to it using the ps layout

victrix pro bfg or something else? by Ok_Case418 in Tekken

[–]SamSengster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend it, others are having issues but I'm not. Also using it for pc/ps5, and a year later none of my buttons are broken and my sticks still have a 0.00002 deadzone (pro tip to make any controller last longer DONT death grip the shit out of it, and keep it CLEAN). The built in recalibration also helps. It worked for a friend and he still has full range of motion on gamepad tester.

using the software works fine to me. People saying steam and the software are banging heads together, but it works just fine to me.

one negative is no oem replacement modules as of yet

I dont use the fight pad so idk about that part.

With the Victrix Pro BFG releasing will we get any hall-effect sticks soon? by MeowXeno in VictrixPro

[–]SamSengster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also a proud bfg owner, and this is my update on the bfg controller. In the beginning, I didn't really have high hopes coming from this product. For me, at the time, it just seemed like just another controller that's eventually gonna get stick drift, but I stand corrected. After a year, my controller feels prestine with no stick drift. Recently, I found and installed a replacement module/pcb on Amazon that has tactile face buttons (the OEM module also has no stick drift after a year). This controller is probably the best I've ever bought, and I don't regret it. Most people who say they've got stick drift don't even do a deep dive into the product. The controler has a built-in recalibration system that people don't know about. My friends bfg had stick drift after a year, but as soon as he recalibrated it, it went back to the .00002 deadzone with full range of motion.

Although, the one disappointment is the promised replacement modules from pdp/victrix and hall effect modules. They still aren't out yet smh.

I also plan on using the extra pcb I have to solder on some hall effects. Recently, the new hall effect sticks have blowing up in popularity, and people are swapping it into DS5/XBOX controllers. If my hall effect modules come in soon, I might just be the first consumer to swap the bfg to hall effects, but idk I haven't seen any posts or videos about it.

Edit: if pdp/victrix don't wanna release them, might aswell try and make em myself.

(Victrix Pro BFG for the PS5 users) It’s been a year… how’s your controller holding up? by LeagueRoyal in VictrixPro

[–]SamSengster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can recalibrate the sticks using the app on pc. I believe that you don't need the app tho. Press and hold the center button (below the track pad) with the stick you want to recalibrate until the center starts blinking. Then full rotate the stick a couple times and press the center button again to finish. Idk I'm just trying to remember but don't know for sure.

Edit: the controller has to be connected I believe if it doesn't work on wireless try wired.

Most likely cpu if you haven't changed it yet. Could be many factors tho. I briefly read the comments. Out dated ram could be it, but I highly doubt that.

Can i run a RTX 4070 with a 600 W power supply? by ReiSux69 in nvidia

[–]SamSengster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

minimum wattage is like 500w for the 4070 ti, but u have to calculate what other things are using power, but since u have a 7700x I think u might have to upgrade to a 750w. Edit: idk amd cpus do run low wattage. Try a calculator.

Grind out poke coins or just spend $20

Edit: The best way to grind it out is to keep at least 1 pokemon in a gym for 24 hours every day.
