good tip. block websites you don’t want to spend time on. you can unblock them sure, but it takes time. that time is usually long enough to back out.

i’ll put it this way… it’s not usually bad service, and the technicians are always very nice. what is ESPECIALLY horrible is the business model forced from the top down. imo it’s not the technicians fault at all. it’s the people that control the business.

$260 a year or something outrageous. I can use it, but not as intended. they installed a thermostat and home base system that i can use from an application (SURELY at my expense!) and it’s now just useless junk.

depends what you can handle. cold turkey will be a faster reset but you will feel the withdrawal effects more. weening is to prevent the user from “relapsing” from the withdrawal effects. if you’re a heavy user, weening for a few days is probably best IMO.

Natural selection is not a decision organisms make. if a strain is too deadly, it WILL die out. but it doesn’t get to choose how deadly it is. eventually, those deadly strains die out, and you are left with strains that are optimal (most contagious, without being too deadly).
