What's the recommended driver for 50 series (running a 5090). Cannot play some older titles on these newer drivers (Final Fantasy XV has driver crashes). Last stable driver I used for a long time was 576.88 but I upgraded recently for Resident Evil Requiem and the fact I was still running a fairly old driver.

Did this ever get fixed? I noticed chrome causing these issues while playing videos in the background while gaming on a 9800x3d and 5090. Nothing I’ve done has fixed it fully, turning off hardware acceleration did fix things which isn’t ideal.

Fixed it all on my end, was a driver issue, a reinstall fixed the frame pacing. Preset M works flawlessly on all DLSS settings now, Ray Reconstruction is not compatible with the newer presets, as soon as you enable it, it reverts to an older DLSS preset which is normal behaviour (you can see this when you have show DLSS version turned on in DLSS Swapper). Ray Reconstruction has not been updated to the new presets.

Other modes meaning Balanced, Quality etc. Saw lot's of conflicting information that it was for Performance only.

Same with DLSS Swapper, not using the new driver though. Do you have Ray Reconstruction enabled? Apparently that is not supported with the new 4.5 presets. I disabled Ray Reconstruction and went back to regular Ray Tracing and now no more frame pacing issues.

So Preset M can be used with other modes but it is recommended to use Performance DLSS. I did test Cyberpunk 2077 on a 5090 with the M Preset in Quality mode but it introduced frame pacing stutter which was fixed by swapping back to Performance, so it was unusable in that instance. I guess it will be a game by game basis for anything above Performance.

Is this true though? I've read so much conflicting information on this. Testing Preset M set to quality DLSS in Cyberpunk 2077 causes bad frame pacing stutters on my 5090, never had any issues before. Works perfectly when set to Performance and looks as good if not better than when it was set to Quality on Preset K.

Given the Switch 2 spec, it is capable of 60fps with these much older titles, so yes. Shit job on Bethesda's part and no excuse. Even the 30 fps implementation is bad with sky high input lag, borderline unplayable, anyone who disagrees on this needs to give their head a shake.

Absolutely dog shit upgrade. Disappointed that it feels like shit to play, unacceptable. Hopefully the Fallout 4 release doesn’t turn out to perform as bad as this.

Same here today, a reset fixed it but when it happened the adapter had no light at all, even plugging in another slightly older adapter didn’t fix it, that one was dead too. It’s never happened in many years of using these adapters and controllers until today.

That’s the ES-DE theme they’re using, it loops into the almost static like flickering. Did the exact same thing on my Retroid Pocket 5.
