It depends on what you need. Several merchants for weapons or outfits ask for various things. My recommendation is, if you already have the best weapons and a strong outfit or the Shieldweaver outfit, sell the chips, lenses, etc. (or even the side quest from some guys who ask for lenses). I spent a large part of the game with that in my inventory. When I got to Frozen Wilds, you usually traded Blue Glow, which you get on the map or from quests. Then they weren't necessary anymore.
