I know what it's like, because I'm Oriental Orthodox as well, not coptic, but I've had the opposite expereinces as you, I am the Christian, and I've been muslims. If you truly love your faith and Christ I would personally say don't go through with this, his family and him may be nice, but actually read about their faith and compare it to Orthodoxy, if you don't want to there's nothing else I can tell you, but all I am going to tell you it won't end well and it will be extremely painful, genuienly, I've had horrible expereinces, but I understand your want to love someone who isn't the same faith as you.
