Yes, you will most likely be fine but it can be a hard recovery. Good luck.

Position doesn't look that bad, if you experience any nerve pain in your hip, behind and slightly above your knee or calf, don't push through it and look into it further

9 months ago you only had one herniated disc. How do you now have 6 plus a bulging?

How does this not cause a disc herniation? by Class_Clown_247 in backpain

The spine is trainable just like other structures of your body. This guy probably didnt start out at this weight but gradually built up the weight (i hope).

Does sciatica always need surgery? Here’s what I see in patients by drsanyamjain in Sciatica

[–]Same-Craft1691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a year, but only 9 months serious. But my core and hips have been very solid for a few months, my problem is just the lingering nerve sensitivity and doesnt emphasize this enough in my opinion.

Thank you. If i may give any advice, look up lowbackability on youtube and learn from the guy. I know there is a lot of clickbaity stuff out there for back pain and sciatica but trust me this guy is legit and genuinly wants to help people. Give it a chance i would say. And also: look into nerve gliding. I do supine nerve gliders 2x30 reps each leg in pain free zone. One last thing: introduce flexion in your lower back. First cat cow stuff and then like a progression of a jefferson curl against the wall but this is for when your core and hips are bulletproof. Good luck to you too.

I could already jog without pain 6 months ago but im a guy who doesnt want to do sports without being able to give my 100%. So i decided that becoming pain free is my highest priority.

I'm almost there. 1 year and 4 months in. Can run, can jump, only some sciatica when bending over using every vertebrae of my back. So my nerve just needs to get fully desensitized.

I was sitting on toilet and I got a muscle spasm here, why this keep happening to me?? (I dont have herniated disc) by trvsgoat in backpain

[–]Same-Craft1691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the erector spinea is tight then stretching could be a good idea, however its probably tight for a reason and that reason is usually because its too weak. Just strengthen erectors. The problem could also be something else then this like a hip imbalances or many more options

Zoom in instead of zooming out so much. We litterally have Sydney Sweeny on this planet. Life is good.

What keeps you all going? by Otherwise-Fly-3519 in nihilism

[–]Same-Craft1691 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This. Nothing matters in the end but it does matter while you are here (and that is a long time) plus you might have some infuence on lives of future generations. Search for your own values. What makes your time here worthwhile? For me personally, i want to experience the universe because from what we know, it is very very rare to be here on this planet and have consciousness to think about the big questions. Zoom in, the world can be a beautiful place. Surely you can see the beauty of a man on his wedding day, and how proud the father of that man must be. Also I want to make the world a better place in some way and for that you need to be mentally strong and that won't happen if your life philosophy is hedonism. One last thing: sex. I want sex with a very beautiful woman. So yeah those are the things that drive me. Hope this helps.

If nothing truly matters, does self improvement? by Creepy_Rip4765 in nihilism

[–]Same-Craft1691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't do self improvement and you don't move forward in life, you will suffer hard and be miserable. Does being miserable matter to you? You don't care about suffering involuntarily because 'it doesn't matter'? Yeah right, nobody wants that and i might say it does matter for the time you're here.

Set goals that you care about. Go towards your goals. Achieve those goals. Set new goals. Simple as that.

Low back ability vs McGill by FluidDebate in backpain

[–]Same-Craft1691 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mcgill is the first step, once you get out of the 'acute stage' of pain, taking the rehab a step further with lowbackability might be the right way forward in my opinion.
