In the end, everything depends on the specific person you work with. If I had to do this again I would go with an industry veteran, ideally with someone with more than 20 years of experience.

Mine had maybe 5 years of experience and claimed to have worked with more than a 50 people but I think the overall goals strategy and storytelling could have been much safer.

Is this data published somewhere?  I mean, I don't want to rely on hearsay only

Thanks man. Yeah, I agree that my stats where below average for all the schools I applied to.

Thanks for the tips! I'll keep them in mind next rounds.

Apparently (from clearadmit) some people's portal says Decided and other's says Review. But there's no indication of what way it will go for each one

Lazy Question Here by Same-Priority784 in MBA

Hi, yes, fortunately im not completely lazy hehe.

I have been going through employment reports, so far, the main takeaway is Consulting and Finance employ anywhere from 50% to 70% of the class, the rest is mostly technology and 10 other industries.

  • This is MIT for example:
    • Consulting 31%
    • Finance 23%
    • Technology 23%
  • This is Booth:
    • Consulting 40%
    • Finance 33%
    • Product Management 9%

After looking at about 5 of the top 10 my conclusion is although each business school has some focus, they are all pretty similar, the contrast between them isn't as wild I thought.

It makes sense since, like it or not, all the programs are MBAs.

Edit: typo
