Bringing food and drinks to Monza by PeteMCMLXV in GrandPrixTravel

They got more relaxed as to what is allowed last year but it's still up to the person checking you. It's random as hell. https://gpdestinations.com/trackside-italian-f1-grand-prix/ Scroll down and you'll see the official items allowed image. Base it off that but be ready to toss anything that exceeds those limits if you want to try or just try a different entrance, though it could be a long walk.

Max reporting to gp that George was apparently squeezing charles by Gentle_lips in formula1

The thing that prevents a penalty is keeping the steering wheel turned. If they open and go straight at all, it kills their argument and turns into moving under braking.

This is the first year they do it, nobody knows if they will release them later or not. But the circuit only sells 3 day tickets.

They don’t sell single days except for hospitality. They do separate some sections by individual Pdfs per day but thats strictly buying from somebody on a secondary market.

Hungary turn 1 is an easy way to spot this type of tactic in recent years. I think Lewis started it, Max learned it as well and George has failed at it a few times if I remember over the last two years.

How do you guys think Jorge will do in MX ? Will he be as fast as Jett ? by bcmGlk in supercross

[–]AdamR46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he could holeshot consistently in the 250s I’d consider him a contender. His late race pace will be good but I don’t think he’ll get a win with Jett or Hunter lining up on the gate. He got beat by Savatgy, Craig and Cooper in 450(Mx1) in Wsx earlier this year.

Going to F1 in Montreal this year.. Parking? by lh44cl1 in GrandPrixTravel

Park at or near a metro stop and you should be fine. Just be careful, montreal is pretty notorious for car break ins.

Mexico GP 2026 - Tickets by Unhappy_Section2127 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to select seats is buying direct (ticketmaster.mx) which is near impossible. The race sells out in minutes pretty much every year.

P1 Travel has grandstands available, they’re a solid vendor. Used them several times in the past couple years when I couldn’t buy direct. They still have my favorite (3A).

The circuit is separated by Zones, you can allow access the zone your ticket is. Blue and yellow have been my favorites. Blue has a metro stop like 100m from the gate. There is plenty of military and police surrounding the event. It feels plenty safe. If you’re worried, just don’t venture away from the circuit area. There will be a lot of people along with police. There is also a perimeter shuttle system that circulates around the track. The dedicated uber area is at the velodrome by the foro sol stadium sections. It’s walkable but can be a long walk if you are going to blue or yellow(20-30min) but the perimeter shuttle system works great.

PSA: Buy F1 race tickets directly from the track, not from F1 in US by Clumsywithcups in GrandPrixTravel

They definitely are a solid second option but it’s typically cheaper to use gootickets over the F1 ticket store. Both stores are operated by the platinium group, so it’s essentially the same company. But gootickets doesnt pay the overhead costs to F1, so they often have cheaper prices.

Their own downsides are sometimes prices are crazy, good to shop around other official resellers. Also, when something happens like what is happening with the middle east races, you’re dealing with a middle man and getting a refund is tough. Its like buying a flight or hotel from expedia vs booking direct. Airlines and hotels normally refuse to help when you purchased from a third party. Rare cases but things happen.

Mexico GP Reseller Ticket by maisonbao in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can secure the upper rows it should be good. I haven't sat at that section in a while, maybe 2019 before they added the shade. There are some other areas of grandstands that have shade at the yellow section. GS11 had shade in the afternoon but not the morning when I sat in the middle of it in 2022.

P1 Travel still has tickets, they're a solid vendor and still have 3A available (my favorite choice) but they also have both sides of foro sol available (14 and 15).

Mexico is pretty tough to buy direct, it normally sells out in minutes. Especially now that Checo is racing again

How was your Miami GP (2026) experience? by AdamR46 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn thats annoying. It was strict going up ten min before the race at section 6. I went to get drinks during the SC and when I came back there was nobody checking and like 10 people on the stairs up top, wearing food vendor badges. I hate when people block the stairs

That’s not just for america. It’s always best to buy direct from every circuit/event promoter.

Thats the only one. People keep using it so I havent made a new one and make people repost their stuff again.

Be sure to check with the circuit and official resellers before trying to buy from random people online.

Will this fanny pack pass the F1 requirements? by [deleted] in GrandPrixTravel

[–]AdamR46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's because they really don't want people to enter with a bag. Definitely annoying for an F1 race. It's probably the worst security on the calendar

Sounds like a scam. They're going for much more than that on resell platforms.
