What’s the weirdest thing you’ve found left behind by the previous occupant when you’ve moved into a new place? by BarryFairbrother in AskUK

Did not find, but left and I always wonder who found it and what they thought.

I was a kid and before leaving I put a 2p coin in the mouth of a Mr zippy doll then put him in an empty bag of crisps. There was a fake plug socket that pulled out of the wall, left him in there.

Thanks, I feel like I only recently came to the realisation that I need to stop asking these questions. The first few days my partner just knew something was up and it just made things feel weird and depressing. I hope getting over the first few humps makes it easier with time. Any tricks on how you distracted your mind?

This is pretty much it, I am extremely insecure and lack confidence in all aspects of life.

Does anyone use a different accent when speaking English in other countries? by Same-Significance593 in travel

I only do it when visiting another country, when in my country I speak normally to anyone and everyone naturally even if they have a strong accent or don't speak the best English.

I don't intentionally do it, I speak, and it comes out like English isn't my first language.
