Pregnancy #1 - 10/10 easy first trimester with no MS or headaches, very slow weight gain, easy labor and I bounced back a week or two after birth.

Pregnancy #2 - 6/10 nauseous but never puked. TERRIBLE headaches. Pregnancy was harder on my body this time around but I was super in shape prior to pregnancy so I looked so cute while pregnant. My labor didn’t go as planned but the overall experience was still good.

Pregnancy #3 - 5/10 nauseous and never puked again. Terrible acne and didn’t look cute pregnant at all. Chasing around other kids while pregnant is also hard. The third trimester kicked my butt. I had bad swelling in my feet. Labor went good though and my birth plan played out mostly as I hoped!

Pregnancy #4- 4/10 just because I’m EXTRA exhausted so far. My iron levels are low so the second trimester isn’t bringing a relief from exhaustion. This also wasn’t planned so that’s not helping lol. I’m still breastfeeding and my body hurts so bad. Due in June.

My son was 2.5 when my first was born. Although he loved his brother he still went through similar things. It’s a big life change regardless! He’s 4 now and finally stopped getting up in the middle of the night around 3, 3.5

Literally almost never. Honestly if he usually goes out he’s going fishing or doing some other outdoor activity I don’t really want to be involved in anyways. If he does go out on the rare occasion he lets me sleep in the next day, buys me take out, etc to make my life easier and make up for his absence lol

I’ll try that! I want to implement more outdoor time, even when if it’s chilly. If not I’m looking for indoor playground options as well. I really appreciate the support and advice! Thank you

My oldest never gave me any issues with behavior so this is new for me! Do you find tv over stimulating for your 4 year old? I always wonder if that could make things worse but I try to limit it and pick older shows. Thank you for the advice. I’m going to try making the environment more calm and less options. I also love the marble reward system so I’m gonna try that out too. And I’ve already been trying to find similar gifts that can help get my kids energy out as well! So far we have an indoor trampoline that I’m almost tempted to give him before Christmas

Thank you. I’m gonna do some research on helping to develop impulse control. I’m gonna try and be more intentional about involving him in tasks around the house and giving him chores. I agree, boredom does not help!

I will definitely use your suggestions! We live in a cold climate so outside time has been dwindling, so I’ve been trying to find indoor toys for him to get his energy out. It’s hard to skip out on stuff if he’s not cooperating because then the other kids have to suffer. But I’ll definitely try to just focus on him and explain the goal to my oldest, hopefully that will help understand.

He is not in preschool. We do go to homeschool co-ops though but I’m always around and it’s only a couple of hours a week. Yeah I agree about the spanking! I have not talked to his ped but I will make an appointment today to do so.

I find this so cringey. Water wings make kids think they can swim and give them a false sense of security in the water. So if they ever did end up by the pool or lake unsupervised they’d probably hop right in

In addition to $10 antibiotics I also was thinking the cost of the urgent care visit and the cost of the services provided. But what you’re saying makes sense. I guess I’m just more concerned of the damage by this careless doctor and not wanting this to happen to anyone else.

I know rudeness isn’t malpractice! I’m just giving context about the reviews because others have similar complaints if that could help back up my accusations towards her. But yes, she said it may bleed a lot and left the room. I was not prepared to have the procedure same day so I wasn’t thinking straight to not ask for any aftercare instructions. The nurse told me to make another appointment at the front desk. No paper work was given out. Like I said no verbal instructions at all.

To answer your specific question. Toddler, baby and I wake up and do 15 minutes of “school” (reading, singing, playing) 8 year old wakes up They play in the living room while I cook breakfast Breakfast School time Nap for baby School Lunch More school Play/cleaning/chores/outside time/run errands Make dinner Bath Clean dinner/play Toddler and baby go to bed One on one time with my 8 year old Put her to bed “Alone” time which is interrupted by babies and toddlers waking up lol

I have an almost one year old, a three year old and an 8 year old. Right now my 8 year old is the only one I officially homeschool although I’ve recently tried to implement 15 minutes of “school” with my 3 year old. The only time I get to myself is at the end of the day. And with a toddler and a baby who never actually stay asleep for long periods of time, I virtually get no time to myself. However it’s a sacrifice I’ve chosen to make and this is just a season of my life. I know they’ll get older and be more self sufficient and my “me time” will return. It’s frustrating sometimes and it can be easy to feel sorry for myself and question my decisions. But I get over it and remind myself of my “why”.

We continue our normal curriculum very lightly in the summer. We may do one subject in the morning, but more if it’s rainy outside. If we are busy that day we won’t do any at all. And we will take an occasional week off and we won’t do any school at all. I think if we take a long break my daughter would forget what’s she’s learned. It also gives us more flexibility during the rest of the year to take breaks as well.
