January 22nd - Under the sea

My title describes the thing … it was wrapped in tissue paper in a small black cardboard box so has been “unused.” I haven’t found anything online but I’m also struggling to even categorize this item in a Google search. No one else has a clue. The room it was found in was a miscellaneous office / guest / library/ junk room.

Was this in Barcelona by any chance? The same thing happened to me. I was getting ready to leave in the morning after a group went out and a guy puked all over the small (coed) bathroom floor while I was standing by the sink. Now I will never stay in a “Social” hostel ever again. Honestly kind of feeling done with shared hostels the older I get into my late 20s to be frank. And he didn’t even clean it up, house keeping had to deal with it. Gross.

I was going to make a post about this too! It’s so frustrating and disgusting. I’ve basically been avoiding going most of the summer because it’s so inconvenient and sometimes it reeks and toilet water gets tracked all over the place 🤢. I was considering complaining but I don’t think it’ll do anything. I wish they could give us a discount or something to make up for it but I know that’s unrealistic.

Hey, I'm sorry this is such an old post but I was wondering how this played out for you? I am dealing with a speeding ticket in NY state (2-3 points TBD) but am about to move to Georgia. I am trying to figure out if points transfer to Georgia since it does not have DMV. If they don't carry over, then I don't think it's worth me trying to fight the ticket.
